The Nedgraphics Texcelle Program is a new program made for textile manufacturing companies. It was designed to help increase efficiency and cut costs in the workplace. The program itself has the goal of reducing the demand for human labor at textile manufacturing companies by 50%, while decreasing production time by 40%. This would also create much higher profitability, along with an increase in efficiency when it comes to resource use, which would have a significantly better impact on the environment. There are many different programs that are being developed that are geared towards finding ways to reduce the world's energy consumption. The SPARC Design Center is part of this program, which has been around since 2012 to promote research into clean technology innovation for D.C-based companies in the D.C area, and other regions around the country. The Texcelle Program has been working closely with the SPARC Design Center in order to discover how they can help to significantly reduce energy use among textile manufacturing companies. The program has partnered with the Stanford University Graduate School of Business to develop its business model, looking at ways they can use digital technologies to improve efficiency in many areas of textile manufacturing. They are also partnering with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Expanding Your Horizons Conference, which is an annual event at MIT that brings together women and girls from around the world to learn more about how they can succeed in STEM fields. The conference has over 200 exhibitors who are involved with STEM-related industries, including companies like 3D Systems, NASA, and Intel. The company has also partnered with the United Nations to work with UNIDO’s Small and Medium Enterprises program to look at ways they can help SMEs in developing countries expand their businesses. The program is designed to help develop more competitive businesses through the use of technology. The Texcelle Program was looking at ways that they could use digital technology to improve efficiency among textile manufacturing companies, which could then be shared with these SMEs. The company has also partnered with Rotary International’s Innovation Center to develop their product under the newest edition of the Maker Challenge program. The Maker Challenge program was designed to help high school students learn more about manufacturing, 3D printing, and robotics. The rules for this year’s challenge were very broad, allowing for students to design products that they would think would be useful in the real world. For many years, the global textile industry has been criticized for being irresponsible regarding their workers' health and safety, as well as their environmental impact. With this in mind, Nedgraphics Texcelle Program takes a stand to help correct these issues through revolutionary innovation and technology so that manufacturing can become more efficient. cfa1e77820
